On March 19, a delegation of Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), headed by President Michael Taft Benson, visited Hebei GEO University. Our Vice-president Zhang Xiaoping met with them and had a cordial and pragmatic meeting with them.

During the meeting, the two parts gave comprehensive introduction to the characteristics and preponderant subjects of the two universities. They reached agreements on establishing long-term ties and developing cooperation platform. Vice-president Zhang and President Benson signed MOU on behalf of the two universities.

The delegation also visited the Geoscience Museum, the Monetary & Finance Museum and the Production-Education-Research Center of School of Gemology and Material Technology. Throughout the visit, the delegation gained further knowledge of the University.
