November 24, 2018, the 1st Chinese Opera Competition in Hebei held in Hebei University of Science and Technology. Over 120 foreign students and teachers from more than 20 countries of 13 colleges and universities in Hebei Province took part in the competition. This is the first time for HGU to participate in such competitions of foreign students and teachers. The International Education and Exchange Center selected 8 foreign students. After about 4 months training, the two performances we prepared got 4 awards: two honorable awards, one excellent organization award and one excellent guide teacher award.
In order to encourage the students, our Vice-President Zhang Xiaoping attended the reporting performance on November 25.
