On December 17, a dumplings activity was held in Huixinyuan Cafeteria. This is a culture experience activity for foreign teachers and international students from Republic of Korea, Pakistan, Djibouti and Ethiopia. The Director Liao Yibin, the Secretary of CPC Branch Sun Guangli and the staff of International Education Exchange Center also participated in the activity.

At the beginning of the activity, Sun Guangli explained the procedure of making dumplings as well as the culture and history in detail. Then, all the students and teachers, under the guidance of the chef, started to make dumplings by themselves. Through an hour’s hard work, dumplings of various shapes finally came out. In the end, everyone had a warm and wonderful time making and enjoying the self-made dumplings.

Throughout the activity, the foreign teachers and students have deepened their understanding and love of Chinese culture. Small as they are, the dumplings represent the warmth and blessing we gave to our foreign friends, relieving their homesickness and promoting the spread of Chinese culture in the world.
