December 7, the establishment of the‘Multi-language Cultural Center’ and the book donation ceremony were held in Hebei GEO University. The Vice-President Zhang Xiaoping said during the speech that the center, established under the background of an increasingly frequent educational cooperation and academic exchange, is consistent with the Belt and Road Initiative and the strategy of Chinese Culture Going Out, hoping to serve the cultural and economic exchange of HGU and Hebei Province as well as the demands of the Belt and Road Initiative and the strategy of Chinese Culture Going Out.

HGU’s‘Multi-language Cultural Center’ gained supports and help not only from the field colleagues but also from the book publishing houses. The directors of Higher Education Press and Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press (FLTRP), two of the most prominent publishing houses in China, offered their congratulations and donated books and materials worth 10,000 RMB, respectively. They pointed out that the founding of the center is a response toXi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as well as the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, playing an active part in the promotion of international exchange.
